Singh, Javinder
Javinder was born and raised in Bangalore (India). He is a Chef by profession and graduated from the Institute of Hotel management (IHM) Bangalore. Currently he runs his own business as a Food Stylist and Consultant. Most of the major food and food related brands in India have been or are still his clients. His website is www.javinder.com
Javinder’s association with Show Dogs started in 1994 with Dalmatians and Dobermans. His kennel prefix, “Jaspar” was registered in 1995.
In the next few years his Dobermans went on to win some top awards - the “Dog of the Year (B.I.)” in 1998-99. “Jaspar Kennels” won the “Breeder of the Year” award twice, in 1998-99 and 2000-01.
Around the same time he bred my first litter of English Cocker Spaniels and in the next few years got in some well known lines from overseas breeders. He had the pleasure of winning “Puppy of the Year” in 2002 with an Australian imported cocker bitch.
He has bred B.I.S. award winners in Dobermans, Cocker Spaniels , Boxers and Dalmatians.
Over the years his breeding has won more than 100 Best in Show awards, he has won four BISS in National Specialty Shows with his Dobermans.
To his credit he has bred 5 American Champions Dobermans including 3 American Grand Champions and 5 Canadian Doberman Champions. His home bred Doberman dog “Jaspar’s Destiny’s Child” (Donnie) won All Breeds Best in Show/ RBIS, Multi Best in Group in America. He is also an American Grand Champion, Multi Group1st winner, won an Award of Excellence at the Eukanuba show 2012 and was in the Top Twenty Dobermans in 2012. It was the first time that an Indian bred dog has achieved that. He is “B.I.S. Am. GCh.Multi B.I.S/B.I.S.S.Ind. Ch. Jaspar’s Destiny’s Child”.
Javinder’s home bred dog Multi BIS.Ind.Ch. Am.G.Champion Jaspar’s Hunter’s Moon(Atom) made it to the Top 20 dobes in America 2016-17. He is the 2nd Asian bred dog to achieve this, the first being his Grand Father “Donnie”.
In the past he has owned Dalmatians, Dobermans, Cocker Spaniels, Irish Setters, Boxers and Kerry Blue Terrier. He currently owns Dobermans and a Golden Retriever.
He has judged overseas in U.S.A, Canada, Australia, New Zealand , Ireland , Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, China, Thailand, Philippines and Sri Lanka,
He had the honour to have judged BIS at Kennel Club of Philadelphia’s two benched All breed and National Dog Show 2018, Geneva at their International Expo., Top dog Switzerland in 2015 and 2017, Norway Nationals BIS 2017, Top dog New Zealand 2015.Spring Fair BIS in Sydney(2019), he has judged Doberman Specialities in Australia, New Zealand and Norway, Poodle Speciality at Sweden in June 2016. Siberian Husky and English Springer Speciality in the U.S.A.(2017). Great Dane Speciality in Philadelphia 2018.
He lives in Bangalore with his mother, wife and two sons.
