Silva, Zeferino José Cardoso
More than 45 years ago, Zeferino started breeding English Cockers Spaniels.
After 1982, under the name “Temple’s Knight”, he has been breeding and showing American Cockers Spaniels.
With some success he bred and presented many American Cockers in competitions and carried out the championship for more than 50 dogs.
Also for some years he bred and showed some Afghans and Whippets.
In 1989, with others breeders, they founded the Portuguese Spaniel Club where he stayed as president for several years. During this period he was also involved in the foundation and in the direction of the Portuguese Sighthound Club. He was also vice-president of the Portuguese Kennel Club.
Zeferino is breeding and showing English Pointers under the name of “Vale Carvoeiro”, achieving excellent results around the world.
He is an F.C.I. judge since 1995 and as all rounder, he judged national, international and breed specials shows in many European countries, Canada, Brazil, India, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Peru, México, South Africa, Kenia, Australia, New Zealand, Philipines, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Equador, S.Corea, European Show.
