Hiltbrunner-Michalska, Magdalena

Magdalena is a passionate cynologist, judge, dog exhibitor and dog owner.

She is an FCI judge since 2009. She is a Special breeding judge for the Great Danes, Landseers and Leonberger. Currently she is honored to judge the FCI Group II.

Her judging activity has successfully taken her so far across the Europe. Continuing education is essential for a modern judge, with a lot of interest and commitment she gets to know other FCI groups. For her, it is also important to pass on the knowledge she has acquired to breeders and exhibitors.

Until 2016, she was an active board member of the Swiss Club for Great Danes and exhibition manager. Currently, she is board member of the Swiss Molosser Club and Consiglio direttivo SIA and board member of the Italian Great Dane Klub.

Magdalena currently lives with two Great Danes. In her life she has owned and showed many different breeds: German Shepherd, Airedale Terrier, Doberman, Rottweiler, Bouvier des Flandres, several Great Danes and Welsch Corgi Pembroke.

As a former breeder of Great Danes, her involvement in cynology is primarily a judge. She prefers to own males, train and show them.

At exhibitions, she selects the anatomically best dogs that present their breed-typical appearance and do not show any extremes.
