Häberli, Hans Ulrich

On his parent’s farm, Hans-Ulrich ans already bred successfully rabbits, sheep, ducks, doves and exotic birds.

At a young age, he started to work with their farmdog and at the age of seventeen he bought his first purebred GSD, Wolke von der Nauroder Kurve. She was her foundation bitch and Hans-Ulrich started to breed GSD and showed successfully during many years.  In 1989, he had a traffic accident and suffered from severe back injuries. The health consequences of this accident made it impossible for him to continue training his GSD’s and show them in the ring. It was time for smaller dogs and fulfilled himself the childhood dream of a Welsh Corgi Pembroke. Hans imported two dogs from England, Russell of Wey and Good Gracious of Wey.

In the following years, he bred and showed his Corgis with a lot of success allover Europe. He maintained and even improved the quality of his Corgis by introducing American lines (Just Enuff, Ninacorte). With Siggen’s Jeremy from Norway, Hans-Ulrich introduced the natural bobtail gene in his breeding and he is grateful to Leif Wilberg (Siggen) that he allowed him to have this wonderful dog at stud at his kennel.

Since 2007, he has the permitt to jugde the groupe 1. He is also special Jugde for serveral other Breeds. Since 2002, he is also judge for temperament.
