Landarte, Adrian
Adrian has been living with dogs pure bred or not, all his life. He started in the
world of dog shows at age of 17, when he bought his first Afghan Hound.
From that moment he got involved more and more in this hobby as breeder,
exhibitor, judge, organizer, and director.
He is currently President of FCI Judge’s commission, Vice-President of the
Americas and Caribbean FCI Section, President of the Kennel Club
Uruguayo, and was President of the Cimarron Uruguayo Club, Irish Setter
Club of Uruguay and KCU welfare commission. Adrian is also member of the
FCI Show commission.
With Jorge Nallem they founded "El Retorno" kennel having great success
breeding Irish Setters, Beagles, Schnauzers, Dachshund, Fox Terriers,
Whippet, Greyhound and Cimarron Uruguayo. They achieved more than 160
All Breed BIS, including FCI A&C section show, Sicalam, WDS Circuit, BISS
FTW US National, BIG at WDS and FCI Section Shows, several world CH
titles, and several top dog of the year all breed in 4 different countries.
Adrian is an all-breed judge and began his career as an Irish Setter judge in
1987. He had the pleasure to judge and meet friends in more than 50
countries of all continents and is very glad and honored to judge at this very
special event in Geneva.
