Kühni-Stenberg, Gunilla
Gunilla's life has been rather international. She was born in Finland and grew up in
Sweden. Now, she resides in Switzerland; her home for many years.
Dogs have always been the biggest interest of her life. Since 1977, she has bred
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels under the prefix „ Stonehill's “. Over the years, she
had 6 Worldchampions, 3 Viceworldchampions and many International and National
Champions.
Although her heart belongs to the Cavalier, Gunilla has always been very interested
in other breeds as well, especially the toy breeds.
In 1999, a Cavalier and King Charles Spaniel Club started in Switzerland, where she
was the chairman until this year and is now the honorary President. Before taking on
this leadership roles with the CCS, she was a Committee member for the Swiss Toy
Club for many years.
Gunilla is an FCI judge for Group 9 and special judge for 18 toy breeds and also
judge for additional breeds in Groups 1, 2, 3 and 5.
She is glad to have been invited to judge at many breed specialties and International
Shows all over Europe and in USA.
