Bergundthal, Cornelia
Cornelia was born in the German-speaking part of Switzerland and, since 2013, is living most of
the time in France.
Dogs of different breeds accompanied her life since childhood. By her uncle, a German
shepherd breeder, she got insights to dog breeding and dog shows.
She bought her first Staffordshire Bull Terrier in 1990. Since 1992 and till now, Ishe breeds
Staffordshire Bull Terrier under the affix “BUT’S CHARMING RUFFIANS” (BCR).
She has also successfully bred American Staffordshire Terrier and Manchester Terrier until 2006.
Many national, international, 1 World Winner and 1 European Winner and (for the moment) 1 UK
champion are born under her affix. She is also very proud of all the great family dogs, Agilityand Therapy dogs she has bred over the last 30 years.
She is a licensed FCI-judge since 2000 for American Staffordshire Terrier. Since 2005, she
judged several other Terrier breeds and, since 2010, Cornelia is allowed to judge the
complete Terrier group under the rules of the FCI.
Since 1994, she is the chairwomen of the American Staffordshire Terrier Club of
Switzerland and a member of Bull Breed Clubs in Germany and France. Since 2016 she is a
member of the UK Kennel Club.
She has judged on national and international all breed shows and national specialties in:
Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Finland, Russia, Luxemburg, Slovenia, Czech
Republic, Poland, Ireland, United Kingdom, Australia.
Cornelia speaks German, French and English.
